Is the only difference with the DELUXE model the fact that the two blocks are painted red ?
I thought regular paracord breaks at 520 pounds ? So what is the breaking strength of your cord? Is it standard paracord or something different ?
Al Peel –
they’re anodized also the deluxe has a jam cleat for locking the cord (requires a different machining process) it’s called Vectran and has a break strength of 1600 pounds.

Amazing, seen it on Wrangler star YouTube. Looks useful for things in life we plan on as well as don’t plan for.
Dennis Harwell –
I’m curious, is the less expensive one un finished?
Al Peel –
yes it’s not anodized

To lift a 650 pound BMW R1250GSA at a 4:1 advantage would take effort of 162.5 pounds? Right?
Al Peel –
That’s correct, but using the additional snatch block you can redirect your pull and achieve a 5:1 ratio.

Exactly what I needed to hoist my spare wheels onto my overhead storage rack. Shorter than most 4:1 block and tackle systems out there. The deluxe system with the locking cleat helps with retaining the load; a true one-person system. Awesome quality; the ball bearing system is smooth.
